Kindergarten News 12/14/18
We’re a hit! We have had so much fun putting on our play for all the classes at The Acorn, and to rave reviews too! It’s a nice feeling to receive applause for a job well done. Now, with all the practice, the kinder kids can’t wait to perform for their families! We hope to see you next Wednesday!
We have also had fun putting some final touches on some special surprises, working hard on our weekly contract, and putting together our Nativity bulletin board. Be sure to come in and take a look next week!
In art with Ms. Sudie we studied Renaissance painter Rafael and his paintings of the Madonna and Child. She showed us how these portraits were often made in an oval composition. We were inspired to use a similar rich palette to make our own interpretation of his famous works.
A big thank you to Shoshana’s mom, Shawn, for providing us with a delicious, and very popular, cafeteria lunch!
Reminder: Next week, Ms. Sandy’s last class before break will on Monday, December 17th and Ms. Lana will be at our performance next Wednesday.
Also, remember that our last day of class before our Holiday Break is Friday, December 21st!
And another highlight of our week will be our field trip to the Magik Theater next Tuesday. We have our drivers and will be contacting those that need to drop off a car/booster seat.
We wish you all Happy Holidays and hope you have a safe and enjoyable holiday break! See you in January!
