Thank you so much for taking advantage of our online book ordering system!   Please use the online service to order your books from a wide variety of Scholastic Products. This helps The Acorn earn free books for our classroom while you get to shop in the comfort of your home.

1. Please connect using our Class Code: (Web address: https://orders.scholastic.com/HD6YJ. Class Activation Code: HD6YJ)
2. SIGN UP  - On the parent page, register by clicking the “Don’t have a user name or password?” link. When prompted, enter the one-time Class Activation Code shown above. This unique code ensures that your order is sent to The Acorn address.  Please be sure to look for Lange’s class!
3. SELECT the books you’d like to order- choose from thousands of titles – many more than in our monthly flyers! You may order anytime, even if we have not set a deadline.  Just be sure to let us know, so we can submit your order.

4. ORDER online by the due date (contact the office to find out when the next due date is for scholastic orders) and your child’s books will be delivered directly to The Acorn. Ordering online is fast, easy, and secure!

2026 - 2027 Enrollment Information Sheet

• Emergency Card Information (Signature required) Anyone with authorization to pick up or
  drop off your child from school will need to be listed on here. You may update this throughout the year in
  Playground. *One emergency contact must include full address and zip code

• Volunteer Release & Waiver of Liability (Signature required)
• Acknowledgment & Release of Liability (Signature required)
• Permission Slip/Operational Policy Receipt/ Waiver and Release (Signature required)

This is a voluntary form where families add their addresses to connect with other families who may live near by or interested in carpooling. 

We require all visitors, including parents, grandparents, and volunteers, to be get pre-authorization to visit the campuses through our guest management system.

All volunteers are required to submit a Volunteer form acknowledging roles and responsibilities of volunteering at The Acorn - A School for Young Children.

Parent Volunteer Waiver

Must be completed and signed by your child's doctor and submitted before the first day of attendance with the appointment having been within 12 months of the first day of school. Children aged four and older must also have a current vision and hearing screening on file. A second health form is due during the month of your child’s birthday. 

Please get an updated Health Form and immunization record each time you go to your child's annual check-up during their birthday month and upload it on the Playground app.

Must be submitted with the health form. Requires a pediatrician’s signature to be valid IAW Texas State Policy and comply with Texas Minimum State Vaccine Requirements
